Family Ministry

Our family ministry at the Greater Pittsburgh Church of Christ serves both God & the community wholeheartedly. We are focused on personal relationships, personal righteousness, and teaching our children to love & obey God (Deut. 6:5).

We have Bible Talk discussion groups in the Penn Hills, Shadyside/Oakland, Oakmont/Verona, McKeesport and the South Hills.

We offer a comprehensive Children’s Ministry program complete with pre-screened teachers for each class and a professionally developed & certified curriculum to teach our children to love God and about the love of God. The congregation also offers character studies to our pre-teens and young teens tailored to their special needs.

Children’s Ministry classes are provided for children between 9 months through the 6th Grade. All classes are held during Sunday Worship Services & Midweek Bible Study Services allowing parents to focus on their own worship and study at those times.

We also offer a fully equipped ‘Cry Room’ with live audio for nursing mothers.

Children 13 years & older may participate in the Teen Ministry activities.
